Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 2026

Draft — pending review by a lawyer. Not binding until the final version is published.

We want everyone to be able to use Nadlaniko — with a keyboard only, a screen reader, zoom or high contrast. Here is what we did, what isn't perfect yet, and how to reach us.

1. Standard

The site and the app were adapted according to the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.1 level AA.

2. What we did

Full keyboard navigation, with a clearly visible focus ring and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.

Semantic headings and landmarks, a label for every form field, alt text for images and names for icon-only buttons.

AA colour contrast, buttons and touch targets of at least 44 px, and a layout that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops.

Full right-to-left support for Hebrew and Arabic and left-to-right for the other languages, with the page language declared for screen readers.

We respect the operating system's “reduce motion” setting. Videos on the site play muted, and every reel has captions.

3. The accessibility menu

A button in the corner of the screen opens a menu with: text size in three steps, high contrast, inverted colours, grayscale, highlighted links, a readable font, line spacing, stopping animations and videos, and a big cursor.

The menu works with the keyboard (Esc closes it), and your settings are stored in your browser only.

4. Known limitations

Videos that users create with the service have burned-in captions, but no separate text transcript or audio description yet.

Some parts come from third parties (for example payment pages and social-network video players), and we don't fully control their accessibility.

Some complex app screens — the video editor and the publishing calendar — are still being tested with screen readers.

Translation into some languages is in progress, so a few pages may still show Hebrew text.

5. Compatibility

The site was tested on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox, on phones and desktops, and with the NVDA and VoiceOver screen readers.

6. Contact our accessibility coordinator

Found a problem, or something that isn't accessible to you? We'd like to hear about it and fix it. To help us respond quickly, tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and which assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
